Approved Provider of Debtor Education

CIDMCE has been approved by the United States Trustees Office to provide Personal Financial Management Courses (Debtor Education) under the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005. The act includes completion of a financial management instructional course prior to discharge of debt when filing bankruptcy. CIDMCE is "Approved to issue certificates evidencing completion of a personal financial management instructional course in compliance with the Bankruptcy Code. Approval does not endorse or assure the quality of a Provider's services."

CIDMCE has designed a debtor education course (Money In Motion) that will fulfill the financial education requirement under the new act. The course is available in person or by internet. You will receive course information and material needed in order to comply with the new requirement. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be able to proceed with the bankruptcy process.
